Bivouac

Bivouac is a collaborative project between artists: Isabelle Demers, Emilie Proulx and Anouk Desloges.

Although we lead distinct practices, our approaches come together based on the expression of a mysterious universe; playing with the spheres of dream, fantasy and fear. The exhibition “Bivouac” holds a combination of symbols related to camp; a picturesque landscape rooted in an interest for storytelling.

Presented at:
°Centre des arts visuels de l’Alberta, Edmonton AB, June 2018.
°MATERIA, Québec City QC, September 2018.
°Sediment Gallery, Richmond VA-USA, February 2019, preceded by a two week residency on site.

The artists gratefully acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts for this project.
